NMS ELPA was founded in 1997 and it has been successfully operating on the market of the Baltic states.

The company is among the leading suppliers of medical goods and equipment in Latvia providing a comprehensive and high-quality service. A full range of services — design, installation of systems, supply of medical goods and equipment, staff training, warranty and post-warranty service — will keep you up and running.

Our key areas of operations are:

  • design and installation of nurse call systems;
  • design, installation and service of medical gas systems and compressors, as well as medical technology;
  • supply and service of anaesthesia and artificial ventilation equipment;
  • supply and service of equipment for operating theatres, intensive care and perinatal facilities;
  • supply and service of eye surgery and laser facilities, including high-value implantable lenses;
  • equipment for private medical practices and rehabilitation centres.

In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the company’s processes, NMS ELPA has implemented the international quality management system ISO 9001. The ISO 9001 quality management certificate confirms that the company has introduced quality measurement criteria, identified all potential risks and is continuously working on improving quality.

Alcon

NMS ELPA started co-operating with Alcon Pharmaceuticals in 1998, by designating NMS ELPA as the official Alcon equipment service provider in the Baltics and equipment dealer in Latvia, taking into account the fact that at that time NMS ELPA was already among the leading medical service providers in Latvia.

After several years of successful co-operation, in 2021, NMS ELPA was selected as the sole official distributor of Alcon Pharmaceuticals in the Baltics.

Getinge

The co-operation between NMS ELPA and Getinge started more than 20 years ago, as an equipment service representative, and today we are a full-fledged partner in the sale and servicing of high-end equipment such as Servo artificial ventilation machines and FLOW anaesthesia machines. Getinge machinery are high-precision products of outstanding reliability and quality. Ventilation and anaesthesia equipment is still manufactured at the Solna plant in Sweden, and the manufacturer continues to maintain a high quality and innovation standard in the industry.

NMS ELPA started co-operating with Fisher&Paykel Healthcare more than 20 years ago. Fisher&Paykel is a leading artificial ventilation equipment manufacturer globally — the company innovates in areas of respiratory gas humidification and high-flow treatment. The manufacturer offers ventilation circuits, masks and nasal cannulas for both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, ventilation gas humidifiers and high-flow therapy equipment.

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with SCHILLER started more than 15 years ago. SCHILLER are leading manufacturers of functional patient testing equipment with high-end products. The company offers products in all segments — electrocardiographs, stress test and cardiopulmonary testing equipment, ECG and blood pressure holter monitors, defibrillators and mechanical CPR equipment, clinical and critical condition monitors, ergometers, pulmonary functional test equipment.

The German manufacturer SCHMITZ offers some of the world’s best operating tables, gynaecological, urological and proctological examination chairs, examination couches, procedure tables and patient transport trolleys of various types and uses.

FranceHopital

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with FranceHopital started more than 10 years ago. The Italian company FranceHopital is one of the leading manufacturers of multi-functional procedural tables in the world. Design, functionality and quality are the signature features of the manufacturer’s products. The product range also includes transportation and storage systems, medication dispensing and IT tables, laundry and waste trolleys, as well as operating theatre furnishings.

Proma Reha

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with Proma Reha started more than 15 years ago. The Czech company Proma Reha is one of the leading manufacturers of medical and care beds in Europe. The manufacturer offers beds for intensive care units, patient wards and nursing homes in a variety of configurations and functionalities. In addition, the manufacturer offers furniture such as bedside trolleys with food trays, examination couches, patient transport and washing trolleys, mattresses.

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with Weyer started more than 5 years ago. A German company with a production facility near Cologne offers high-end neonatal warmers, neonatal resuscitation tables, incubators and light therapy lamps.

SLEE

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with SLEE started more than 10 years ago. SLEE is a German company boasting more than 60 years of experience in the development and innovation of histology laboratory equipment. The manufacturer offers tissue processors, paraffin embedding stations, microtomes, cryostats, dyeing systems, coverslip mounts, centrifuges, slide and box printers, as well as ergonomic work surfaces for histology laboratories.

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with HERSILL started more than 20 years ago. HERSILL is a Spanish company with more than 50 years of experience in the manufacture of medical gas accessories. The manufacturer offers oxygen and air flow dispensers, balloon reducers, medical gas system equipment for ambulances, suction pumps, vacuum regulators, hand-held breathing bags and portable ventilators for ambulances.

GREGGERSEN

The co-operation of NMS ELPA with GREGGERSEN Gasetchnik started more than 20 years ago. GREGGERSEN is a German manufacturer with more than 90 years of experience in the manufacture of medical gas systems with a fixed manufacturing site in Hamburg. High-precision and high-quality products such as medical gas accessories — flow meters and reducers, suction devices and central gas supply system components — quick-connect gas ports, medical gas valve panels and switching systems, as well as system components.

Derungs Licht is a Swiss manufacturer boasting more than 80 years of experience in the manufacture and innovation of examination and procedure lamps.   1. Objective of the privacy policy

The objective of the Privacy Policy is to offer to the data subject — a natural person — information regarding the purpose, scope, legal basis for personal data processing, categories of recipients of personal data, data retention period and security, as well as the data subject’s rights.

  1. Scope of application of the Privacy Policy

3.1. Personal data include any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

3.2. The Privacy Policy is applied to ensure the privacy and protection of personal data with regards to:

  • natural persons — customers, staff and other co-operation partners (including potential, former and current), as well as third parties who, in connection with the provision of services to a natural person, receive or transfer any information to SIA “NMS ELPA” (including contact persons, payers, signatories, etc.).
  • Visitors to SIA “NMS ELPA” office, warehousing and other facilities;
  • Visitors to websites and social media pages maintained by SIA “NMS ELPA”.

3.3. SIA “NMS ELPA” ensures the privacy and personal data protection of its Clients and respects the rights of its Clients to the legality of personal data processing in accordance with the applicable laws — the Personal Data Protection Law, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and other legislation applicable in the field of privacy and data processing.

3.4. The Privacy Policy applies to the processing of data regardless of the form and/or environment in which the Client provides personal data (on the NMS ELPA website, on social platforms, on paper or over the telephone) and in which company systems or paper form such data are processed.

  1. Purposes of processing and legal basis

SIA “NMS ELPA” may use the Client’s provided personal data for the following purposes:

  • To select potential employees upon receiving a CV and an application (legitimate business interest, based on the data subject’s consent);
  • To ensure convenient reservation of goods and services, to organise co-operation, to improve service (legitimate business interest, on the basis of the data subject’s consent);
  • To process the sale and delivery of goods/services, and to provide services (establishing contractual relations and fulfilling contractual obligations);
  • To process transactions for the purchase of goods and services, and to organise other forms of co-operation (establishing contractual relations and fulfilling contractual obligations);
  • To ensure expedient and high-quality communication in response to questions or comments submitted by individuals (legitimate business interest, based on the data subject’s consent);
  • To carry out analytical research of the use of products and services offered by SIA “NMS ELPA” (legitimate business interest, on the basis of the data subject’s consent);
  • To ensure security on the company’s facilities and site through CCTV and access control (legitimate business interest).
  1. Categories of recipients of personal data

Personal data may be transferred to third parties only to such an extent and by such means as required for the purposes set out in this Policy and to the extent that SIA “NMS ELPA” has the right or obligation to do so by law or by signed contract:

  • Basic information of the data subject, such as given name, surname, personal identity number, customer ID, year of birth, gender, profession, place of residence, e-mail address, telephone number, preferred means of communication, may be transferred to another entity;
  • to state and local government bodies only for the purposes of complying with laws and regulations;
  • to organisations and institutions under the contract;
  • in certain cases, only service providers, who guarantee to take appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to ensure the protection of data subjects’ rights in accordance with laws and regulations may be engaged as personal data processors.
  1. Duration of storage of personal data

Personal data is collected and processed for as long as it is required in order to achieve the aforementioned purposes, to protect the interests of SIA “NMS ELPA”, and in accordance with the duration set by applicable law. After the period of use has expired, the data shall be deleted or archived. Personal data is restricted access information which may be accessed strictly by authorised personnel or access to which is required for the performance of their job duties. All staff members who have been granted access/authorised to work with natural persons’ data shall receive appropriate training to be able to protect the data subjects’ rights.

  1. Data subject’s rights

The data subject has the following rights:

  • To receive confirmation from SIA “NMS ELPA” as to whether or not personal data is being processed;
  • To request rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of their data, to object to processing;
  • To withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before the withdrawal;
  • To file a complaint at a supervisory authority (State Data Inspectorate) regarding the use of personal data.

The data subject shall not have the right to receive information if the disclosure of such information is prohibited by law due to national security, national defence, public security, criminal law considerations, or for the purpose of safeguarding the financial interests of the State in tax matters or the supervision of financial market participants and macroeconomic analysis.

  1. Information security

SIA “NMS ELPA” shall keep the data subject’s data secure by using the functionalities of modern technologies, taking into account the existing privacy risks and the reasonably available organisational, financial and technical resources of SIA “NMS ELPA”, including the use of available security mechanisms in accordance with the current technological possibilities.

  1. Amendments to the privacy policy

SIA “NMS ELPA” assumes that before using the website www.nmselpa.lv you have read the present Privacy Policy and have accepted it. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not provide any information on the site www.nmselpa.lv. SIA “NMS ELPA” reserves the right to unilaterally change and amend the Privacy Policy without notice and at any time.
